Saturdays are crazy for us. We run around the house trying to force everyone to eat breakfast and use the potty while we try to find shin guards, cleets, camp chairs, jackets water bottles for the soccer game lineup. I was only 10 minutes late to Isaiah's game. Romar had half the kids at another field for Sam's game and Carrie's game was in 30 minutes. We had camp chairs for me and Romar and jackets for a couple of the kids and one blanket for the rest to fight over. I was feeling good about myself, pretty on top of it so far. I even remembered my camera. I started snapping pictures of Isaiah. I decided we needed a lot so nobody would notice that I only have pictures of one game the entire season. I noticed he had on orange socks and thought he must have borrowed them from a teammate. I got about 20 shots and put my camera away. Then, I saw the coach send in a new kid. Hmm, he sure looks like Isaiah. He runs like Isaiah, oh wait, that's Isaiah. So, I apologize to the child and his mother, who I seemed to be stalking and snapping numerous pictures of. This is actually Isaiah, at least I think it is.

Beautiful new Easter dresses from Grandma! Why no shoes? Oh because we couldn't find them! Can I just say how validated I felt when I came back from a trip and got a report from the girls' church leader, that my kind and brave friend who watched them, took them to church with one set of mismatched shoes, and one set of two left shoes?

I bought this adorable cake for Ben for his 2nd Birthday.
We sang, he loved it!
Then, he took a bite. Not so happy. He cried, it's not chocolate, I wanted chocolate cake for my birthday! He ate the ice cream, but not one bite of his cake.
When Grandma and Grandpa called and asked
what he got for his birthday,
did he mention any of their generous gifts?
Nope. He just said, I wanted chocolate cake for my birthday!
-Oh did I mention the cake tipped over in transport,
broke right down the middle. Thanks Romar for the toothpicks and frosting makeover.

Jacob has been begging to take break dancing classes. I explained that they have performances and I worried about him being too nervous to perform in front of an audience. But, as you can see from the class program, No Stage Fright problem for Jacob!
He ate it up. The other kids were totally embarrassed but
Jacob loved it.

Date night with Abby. I think the other people in the theater
really enjoyed the flash on my camera in the middle of Tangled 3D!

Sam's Pogo Stick Accident

Sam has loved his pogo stick. So much, that the rubber wore off the bottom and the slick metal hit the cement at the park and flung it back between his legs. He flew face flat on the ground. His nose is So swollen and he has two very fat lips and a large red pavement burn on his forehead. The bruises should be colorful tomorrow. We are thankful for all of our friends who helped to load up 3 bikes, 2 scooters, 1 stroller, and 8 people into 4 mini-vans to rush us home.

So, my studio, Kiddie Kandids, closed. I almost cried. Who else can get my 7 kids to smile all at once. I even tried to call corporate to find out where my 2 favorite photographers went. Well, I went to JCPenneys on Stacy, and guess who's there? Tricia from KK! She's amazing. I was so excited that it was embarrassing. Go see her. She'll get cute pics of your kidos.

Relay Night

they stayed all night with us at the Relay for Life.

My family is the best! Romar brought everyone to support us.

So, I tried putting the girls in their room together again for a nap. It's been months since I separated them because of all the poop they left for me when they were in there together. After about a week of cleaning it up, I cried for over an hour and called on friends for help. The solution, thank you Bro. Vandiver, one in each bathroom, stripped out of every single item and the water turned off and one, Abby (because she's the best behaved at naptime) in her room. Preparing for naps, takes about 20 minutes to make sure bathroom is clean and smells clean, move mattresses and quilts and all the essential preparation. So, I thought I'd try it together again. Well, no poop. But, I could smell urine. I smelt all the blankies and all the clothes and could not find it. Finally Sara helped me out. Abby, had peed a little in each corner of the room on the carpet. Why? Oh these girls. They're so cute but sheesh are they naughty!

So, my pictures have disappeared from my computer. The entire drive that had my pictures seems to be missing. No picture blogging for a while. I type my thoughts on here instead and then end up copying them to my journal and deleting the post. I admire the brave souls who post their intimate thoughts on their blogs for the world to see. Someday, I'll be that person. Maybe I'll even put my thoughts in a book. Hey, I can do it, I could be like Kate + 8.

We had all the kids write something they wanted to do today on a paper and drop it in a bucket. Then we drew them out and did whatever it said. No matter what time of day it was, no matter what the order. The kids thought it was the coolest day ever.

The first paper we drew out was... Make Dinner!
So fun to make tortilla soup with so many helpers.

I was so excited for the 2nd thing that came up,

This is life with 3 girls fighting for lap time.

The girls have these 3 matching chairs. They spend more time fighting over who gets which one than actually sitting in the chairs. Notice how one of them is always moving and blurry, or has no pants on, or is crying. So hard to capture cute triplet pictures.

Abby loves to take off her clothes. Sara and Carrie try to copy her and get stuck with their shirts like this. Then they cry until I fix it.
